waders off to cabelas.
#1
I talked to cabelas about my leaking cabelas
waders. They told me to send it to them so they
can evaluate .................
waders are 1 year and 3 moths old, so will see
what they say.
BUT I need something for now, because this may take
like one month. One month of no fishing-I dont think so.
What would be good for now? Something cheap.
And then later use it as a backup.

I would look for some good ones and use the returns as the back-up, but that is just me.
I would never buy waders I didn't feel was going to last, regardless the price.
Why would you want a bunch of cheap leaky waders laying around[laugh]

Check e-bay for "RIVENDELL" waders. For the price they are fantastic.
I have the waist hi and there is a zipper in them. Not that I need it but great for you guys.
They have the no ZIPPER for $40. and up I can say I have been using them all year and so far great!

I am having wader issues also from Cabelas. My last pair I had for 3 years and they charged me $50 for an equal pair because they were in rough shape.
I didn't have a problem with that, but they are in the $200 range and my new ones are leaking at one foot already.
I'm not for sure, but I think this is my 4th pair from only one purchase.
I need to give up and find a new supplier.
I'd better have a look at The kind the Goddess is using.
I better get off here and Google up RIVENDELL. lol

I have no idea. I don't see them anymore. They are the waist high but have a snap and a zipper. The Waist Highs on ebay are every bit as well made.
I sure wish I had bought the chest ones when I had the chance although the price is more than fair on ebay at $150.

I also have the Orvis Pro Guide, but the foot on the Rivendell is smaller and fits my boot better (smalls) and the legs are longer. The material doesn't feel as stiff.
I am sure one day I will break down and buy the chests.
