[size 3]Walt DeMattos, Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) creel census clerk, said that fishing has been spotty in the Overton Arm of the lake. Stripers that averaged 14 inches were taken with anchovies. A largemouth bass that weighed in at two pounds was taken with a crank bait. Anglers fishing at the Meat Hole continued to land stripers that averaged 16 inches. Anchovies are landing the fish.[/size]

[size 3]Boaters fishing off shore at Stewarts Point were landing stripers that ranged from 16 – 18 inches. Anchovies were the bait of choice.[/size]

[size 3]Anglers fishing Echo Bay reported good success for largemouth bass. An angler landed five bass that ranged from 2 – 3 pounds each. A few stripers that averaged 16 inches were also taken with anchovies. [/size] [indent]
