Greetings, my parents have a vvacation home outside of Bailey in Park County. I have never been able to visit, but my wife and I are joining may parents for vacation the last week of April. I was wanting to do some fishing, but don't know where to start. I was planning on taking my waders and fly rod, but have never fished trout in a stream or river before. Any advise, or direction would be greatly appreciated.

well theres the Dream Stream, but you have to be pretty danged proficient to fish there. 11 mile if you have a boat or want to shore fish (i suggest sucker cove). Spinney Mt Res, the premier trout fishery in the western US, and Antero..... i suggest Antero for shore fishing both fly and spinning gear. ask more specific questions if you would like some more info and i can fill ya in.

kochanut gave you the basics on the best areas. The key will be whether those waters are ice free by the time of your trip. They usually are, but they all had an unusually thick ice cap this year.
