Alabama newbie

I'm new here. Looking for anyone with experience on the Flint River in north Alabama, a small isolated river about 45 miles long which empties into the Tennessee River. I am thinking of taking a canoe trip down that river as soon as the weather warms up a little. Are there any bass in that river?
