Save money on TaylorMade R9 irons
#1
We hear the Michael Campbell, the New Zealander who won the TaylorMade 2009 Burner Irons US Open unexpectedly in 2005, has been heavily backed down to 33-1 (from 66-1).

Among the Europeans Padraig Harrington is the heaviest backed by William Hill at 20-1 but then again the Irish, always keen on a golfing punt, love to support their own, while there’s also money on Colin Montgomerie after his revival at the US Open and his second TaylorMade R9 Irons place at St Andrews last year.

Let’s hope a) he can stay on his feet (remember his Golf Clubs for Sale pre-first round accident at Royal St George’s in 2003) and b) discover the putting touch that eluded him at Loch Lomond.

While hoping that Simon Dyson (125-1) will give us a run for our money in our exclusive diary with him during the week, I’ve a strong suspicion for TaylorMade R9 Max Irons of South Africa, Niclas Fasth, Bradley Dredge and Paul Broadhurst.
