WHAT TO EXPECT?
#1
[crazy]Can anyone please tell me what I can expect for fishing near Pt. Baker (northern end of POW island) during the middle of May. Planning a trip next year for bear hunting and fishing and I would really like to have some quality fishing time when I am done hunting. The outfit that I'm going through doesn't seem to think that the fishing will be that great the middle of may and then you talk to someone else and and they say different. So has anyone fished this area this early that can tell me first hand how they done. I've also been led to believe that the crabbing is no good in the same area and I've heard different on this also.

Thank You for any info.!

[cool]I have actually fished this exact location 2 years ago during the last week of august, that was a great video and thanks for sharing.

The reason I'm inquiring about the fishing there in May is because it is suppose to be a lot different than later in the season and I would really like to know if it's going to to produce the quality fishing that I would hope for. And would like some info on tackle or location to improve my odds of being successful, Thanks Again.

No quite as much activity on the Alaska forum as on the Utah forum. Looks like you are going to beautiful country.
