Hmm, not exactly what I wanted from the trip. We did land +/- 40 of them but nothing big at all. Lots of ~2 pounders but all slot fish. Maybe 75% were Cutthroats the rest Rainbows. The fish were for the most part all down DEEP. 20-30 feet is where the schools were at in 40 foot of water with the occasional one hanging around 15 feet and not a whole lot at all anywhere near shore. Since it was Friday we had the place darn near to ourselves. I cruised the entire shoreline initially looking for them and we got one here and one there with very little showing on sonar. Not a whole lot of fly fishing which is what I wanted to do primarily. I got one on my old fly rod using a super fast sinking line and that was it fly fishing wise. Ohhh, well. It was way better up there many months ago. 22 degrees out when we got there and 37 degrees when we left just before sunset.
