Sound or no sound in a crankbait?

Sound for sure, it makes a big difference. Especially if the water is stained but it also helps the fish locate the lure in clear water.

I've used some silent KVD cranks in clear shallow water with success but I prefer the rattle whether it be a click or a clack [Smile]

A lot of Pros talk up the silent crankbaits and I'm sure there is a time for them, but I will always prefer the rattling baits![cool]
