Need Help? Looking for a bobber!

I used to buy this type of bobber in Missouri (see attachment), but have been unable to locate it anymore. Has anyone seen this type of bobber/cork? I really like this type and appreciate any help.

Have you tried making one? What is the advantage of that type of bobber? May not be worth the trouble if you look at what you're really gaining.

What are you going after using this float? They are used here in Tennessee for bream and crappie. Tell me more about the game fish you're after, the type of structure you are fishing type of bait and anything else you can about this float and your your use of it.
