Contact Canadian Parliament Today Bring the Spring Bear Hunt back in Ontario

[#0000ff]NOTO[/#0000ff] is an association for Northern Ontario Toutist Outfitters.

Following is a notice from the NOTO office received on Nov. 12th, 2003.

Your NOTO staff have returned to the office after what many have said was a very informative and successful Conference.

Now back at the office, one of the first issues that we have to address is the Nuisance Bear Review Committee report sanctioned by the Conservative Government and released Monday to the public by the new Minister of Natural Resources, David Ramsey.

To view the report of the nuisance bear review committee, visit the ministry’s web site at [#0000ff]http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/mnr/ebr/nbrc/index.html[/#0000ff]

Indications are that Minister Ramsey will be making a decision pertaining to the return of the spring bear hunt in the next two weeks. We will be making our concerns known to the Minister in the immediate future.

Please review the report and forward any comments to our office as soon as possible. We also encourage you to talk to your local member of Provincial Parliament so they can understand the seriousness of the issue.

If you are interested in becoming involved with NOTO, call their office at 705-472-5552. It is a great association.
