What size hook to use?

The best hook size depends on the style of hook your using, its brand name, and especially the gap,which should be extra wide. Some thinner hooks can be bent outwards to increase the gap, but might not be as strong as say Owner hooks. The bend of the hook should come to anywhere from 1/4 to1/3 down the worm, which indicates the hooks insertion point. <br> If the fish are hitting the latter half, move the hook gap to the middle of the worm. Senko's are thick and harder than most plastics, so that gap and hook set are key to setting the hook.<br>The above info was for Texas rig. A drop shot rig requires a small, exposed, nose hook. Gap is still important, but size usually is around 2,1 or 1/0.<br><br>
