Electric Lake

Hello everybody. I am new to the site and decided to join up. I was wanting to take the my boy out fishing this weekend and was wondering if anybody could tell me if Electric Lake is still open water or if it has frozen. Thanks.

E-lake generally freezes early on the inlet side , but has open water on the dam end into dec

Thanks for the info Lonnie. We usually go to scofield but I read on another post that it is already ice capped. I enjoy fishing electric and me and the youngster are usually good for a couple nice tigers. I need some fish for the smoker.[]

You do realize when an angler tells another angler that a lake is capped, said angler is informing the other angler that the lake is indeed frozen over?
