Columbia buganboo boots. I have a pair and so does my wife I haven't had cold feet yet and I just wear normAL socks with them. for the price I think they are quite reasonable. Sorrell. Is nice but you will pay for the name

I picked these up last year. Couldn't afford Baffins. Theyy kept me warm several times below zero and my feet dry when standing in slush.

Muck Boots are the best ice fishing boat I have ever had. My feet have never been cold or wet. I do have some of the rubber ice cleats for them and they work great!

I ordered a pair of Kamik's from Amazon for $47, as well as a pair for my wife for $35. Very warm boots and waterproof. I think they will be great for ice fishing.

You've got great suggestions in this thread. I'll add just one more. The main thing you want to look for is waterproof. Insulation definitely helps as well. My first year of ice fishing was rough on my feet since I had not invested a lot into gear. My feet were cold and damp every trip. The next year I had stepped it up with some boots that I paid about 40 bucks for. They were insulated but not waterproof if you stepped in snow deeper than 4 or 5 inches. I see lots of mickey mouse boots, sorels, and muck boots on the ice. Since I hunt as well, I opted to go with some Danners from Cabelas. They are waterproof and have some excellent insulation as well. My feet stay warm all day. Also if the boots you pick up don't have a "grippy" tread, you may want to look at getting some ice cleats that will fit on your boots. There are plenty to choose from out there and most will work just fine. They are a must when walking out on snow-free ice that is slicker than snot!

I get cold feet really easily and did my research 1 1/2 years ago when I was looking for ice fishing boots. Cabela's Trans Alaska III Pac Boots!!!!!!! I fished for burbot at Flaming Gorge at night. It was single digits and didn't feel cold at all!!!!! Also, fished Scofield during the day and they were still perfect. Obviously these are big, but the design is less restrictive than you might think by looking at them. [fishin]

I'd second the muck arctic pro's. your feet will be warm and absolutely dry. Getting on the ice with soft edges and fishing the deep slush becomes a lot less of an issue. Price may be a factor though as they are spendy.

They are big but very comfortable and very supportive. Spent 6hr with them cover in slush and water and never leaked or left my feet cold. Plus they have little pockets for hand warmers just in case.

Sorry for bumping this old thread...only my fishing experience

Picked up a pair of the Korkers Polar Vortex 1200 at Scheels Ice Fest ($240 reg but rung up as $100) https://under-the-open-sky.com/best-ice-fishing-boots/ Haven't been on the ice with them yet but wore them sitting in my popup blind for rifle and cant complain. I normally wear 10.5-11 and their 11 seemed true but was a little tight on the sides, I'm sure they would loosen up. I actually opted to jump to a 12 and am happy with them, they don't feel clunky and can drive with them on, I can put just a little heavier sock on and now I think I can actually add a little more insulating insole on them to help combat the cold from coming up even better.

Cabelas has their own brand muck boots that have 2000 grams thinsulate on sale right now for $85 after tax. I think they were regularly $130. I just used them this weekend up in the Uintas and it was 10 degrees outside and My feet were warm as could be. I was just using regular socks in them as well.

I bought these last year for this same price when they were on sale. These boots are AWESOME!! They keep your feet so warm and dry even in the slush. And for only $76 it's a steal.

I'm sure there are a lot of different great solutions for every person. Everyone is different.
I tried several of the boots listed in this thread but for some reason I just get cold feet....until I found these.
Yes, I agree you pay more for the name, but these boots have been so good for me personally, it was worth every cent. I bought a pair for my son as well.
Some may not like these because they are a bit heavier. Some may also not like them because they are "too warm".
I have worn these boots in Minnesota in -31 degrees and had to pull my foot out of the boot to let out some of the heat.
If you have cold feet - or just cant seem to keep them warm on the ice - I would buy these boots many times over no matter the cost. They have made my days on the ice awesome.
And they last for years.

I worked in a freezer for years where it was -20 and never got cold feet in there or out on the ice with cabelas inferno 2000 boots. They normall run $150-ish but they often go on sale this time of year for $100. Nice thing is they are also totally waterproof so standing in 3-4" of slush on the ice all day is not a problem either.

Fishing boots are an underrated and important part of your gear. You wouldn't believe how cold it can get this time of year. To buy my own pair, I didn't ask anyone's advice. You can use them as a guide, if you want - talking about me, I already found my kind of pair.
