I still "Lint Chuck" in the freshwater seen, but my flies are very crude. On the other hand, my "Shrimp Flipping" is a whole different ball game.
The ocean species are just as picky for appearance but not line shy in several cases. I learned alot from my Pops about matching the hatch.
With the Saltwater, that can mean the same fly but in different colors to compensate for water temps.
Unlike the freshwater where the water temps can demand a bug at a different state of appearance in a life cycle stage of hatch.
For the Shrimp Flippers, Deep Nymphing could be as simple as adding a BB shot to a Sand Crab fly instead of a small piece of lead wire.
It's all in the wrist. ha ha.
Next thing you know, you will bag on me for using 2 hands for my Spey Casting. I had to learn how to Golf to get that technique down effectively.[cool]
