Your Earliest Memory of Fishing
#21
My first fish was about a 4" perch caught at Grand Lake St. Mary's in Ohio when I was 3 or 4 with my family. To me it was a whopper. I was hooked for life. I then celebrated and unceremoniously rolled down a hill scraping up my elbows and hands ending up at the water's edge. And just this past Friday while wading, I caught a saugeye, on a tough day at the river, and nearly did a face plant into the frigid drink. Nothing's changed. Adrenaline still pumps when I feel that gentle tug.
