Looking for flyies for the glades

I'm looking to make a snake fly," water snake" or a lizard fly,I'm not even sure this is common for fly fishing,I have'nt even checked online.Alfred my fishing buddy is getting back from Guyana soon,I just started flyfishing when he left,just before he left I caught the biggest bass he's seen caught on fly,I used a popping bug from Bass Pro,it was 4lb 6ounce,I want to impress him with a couple of new lures,I want to see anything you can come up with so I can get an idea, and try to either get someone to make them ,or try to make them myself.,This would be a great help,thanks...
