Abe Lincoln on fishing
#1
I read a quotation by Abe Lincoln the other day and immediately thought of the application as it relates to fishing.

“If I had eight hours to chop down a tree, I'd spend six hours sharpening my ax”

I'm always so antsy to be casting into the water, that I don't spend the time I should preparing. I need to learn to take time to prepare myself with knowledge, and properly prepare my tackle and such so it will work effectively.

It changed my perspective a bit on many levels (not just fishing), and thought I'd pass it along. . .
