[#0000FF]I interacted with Doug Miller on several occasions. He sorta reminded me of another (now departed) friend...Merlin Olsen. Doug had a great attitude and genuinely enjoyed doing the shows he did. The only downside was that he was probably responsible for a whole lot of increased traffic on some waters. I have heard a few negative comments about him on that subject over the years. But there is no disputing that he helped a lot of newbie anglers become better anglers...and added to the skills of others already somewhat experienced.

[#0000FF]Too bad he did not take advantage of the availability of colonoscopies...before it was too late. A good lesson for all of us...especially those of us past the midpoint of our expiration date.
