Yakima River - June 5th, 2004
supplied by: [#0000ff]All About the Fly[/#0000ff]
RECORDED: 0 ° FISHING: Good
The Irrigation season is starting throughout the valley so we will be seeing a slow (hopefully) and steady rise in the flows of the Yakima. The lower canyon below Ellensburg is not seeing much changes, However the upper sections around Cle Elem have doubled to around 1400 CFS. Still very fishable, but rising.
The hatch activity has been light, the ever present Caddis have been regular as always. A few Yellow Sallies and PMD's and PED's later in the day
