Recent fishing report for Washington 6/20
#7
Yakima River - June 15th, 2004
supplied by: [#0000ff]All About the Fly[/#0000ff]
RECORDED: [Image: ptcloudy.gif] 0 ° [Image: blackSpacer.gif] FISHING: Good
The flows have shown a very slight increase in flows over the weekend and the river is in great shape. The Bureau of Reclamation has stated that the river will flow at below normal flows throughout the months of June, July, and August. As long as the water temps don't rise to much, that can be good news.

The Green Drake mayfly is making an appearance in the lower canyon. Also, the Cranefly and Flying Ants are a good bet throughout the entire river system.

The fishing has been from Average to Good.
