A National Youth Waterfowl Hunt for properly licensed youths, 12-15 years, may be authorized by federal authorities in mid-September. If held, youths must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or someone 17 years or older designated by their parent or guardian. The adult will not be allowed to hunt ducks, mergansers, coots, or moorhens and will not be required to have a waterfowl license (unless hunting geese). The daily limit and species restrictions are the same as those allowed in the regular season. Daily shooting hours are one-half hour before sunrise to sunset.[/black][/font]
