I have some older mitchell rods (3-5years old) and they broke right where they join together (they are two peice). The thing that happened is they pull apart slightly while fishing, then when a fish hits the lure and I set the hook, the rods bends and cracks the housing on the part of the rod that covers the smaller part of the rod. Is there anything out there that can fix this dilemma?
