Your prune festival reminds me of a business meeting I had many years ago in the offices of the Yuba River Lumber Company...in Grass Valley I think. While waiting to be called into the meeting I was looking at a large fish bowl full of prunes on the counter. The salty old gal behind the counter suggested that I go ahead and take one...which I did. Then she giggled and said "Now you will be a regular customer".
