Bucket Mouths in the Fall
#28
In late fall the bass get lazy,

they seldome even want a slow moving lure. up and down jigs are your best bet.

what they want is a woonded minnow that is active but not going any where. if the bass are going to hit at all thay will hit this first this time of year. if they dont hit that they wont hit anything. so you can kick back and enjoy the day. it will be a few days before they will hit again.

this time of year they do not feed every day. their motabilisms slow way down, they may feed one day then not feed for several days after. getting in on their feeding cycle is a difficult thing to figure, there are so many variables, worm sun shine can speed up the matabilism, dark and cold rain can slow it down, where as a dark worm rain can speed it up.

it is not like summer fishing where you can work the water and agrivate a bass to hit, in the late fall you realy are a slave to the weather patterns.
