Never had the displeasure....[Wink]
Hunted Sat afternoon at the refuge got three ducks...
I was out there to get the wife's and sasquatch's swans...
No luck....
Saw two hit the ground though...
Going out Fri afternoon to try for the swans again...
Then out to my other spot on Sat....[cool]

I went out tuesday & Saturday this week at FB, got a Drake pintail each day plus some teal and gadwalls, haven't seen much mallards just lots of Pins.

Hunted Fri afternoon at the refuge with wife and Sasquastch...
Some ice and got a 8 birds..
Swans flying but not shots..

Bay almost locked with ice...[unsure] Sucked getting out there...

Hunted the Refuge again on Sat in unit north 9...
Got all 7 ducks in just a couple hours...
6 teal and 1 hen mallard...
There was lots of swans flying in the first 200 yards of the unit for any of you that has not harvested you swan..

I went out to FB yesterday and most of the ponds are completly frozen over now, still managed 3 ducks over a little open water I found but now it gets tuff hunting over their with the freeze and all!

Went chasing ducks on Mon...
Ducks still flying their iced up pattern..
The ice in north nine has softened up alot in the shallows but has only lost 2 feet of ice on the edges of the channel...
Shot 5 Mallards and 1 Goldeneye...
Two more weeks left...
Unless I can target some geese...
