There are plenty of things the work up there at this time of year. Power bait works well. Float it off the bottom a couple of feet with a size 16-18 treble hook and put just enough on it so that it floats. You don't need a blob of it the size of a nickle to attract the fish. Nightcrawlers and salmon eggs can be fished on the bottom or 4-5 feet under a bobber to catch fish too. We usually fish one pole one the botton and one with a bobber till we find what they want to eat.

If you want to fish with lures then small crank baits, spinners, and maribou jigs tipped with a chunk of crawler work well. When fishing with lures I will keep working along the bank and keep covering new area instead of just standing in the same spot all day. It's much more pruductive to go find active fish that want to hit your lures than to wait for more fish to swim in to find your lures.

Good luck on your trip.
