Interesting, at the link it states that 90,000 less trout will be stocked this year.
One of the reasons for reduced fish stocking is because of
"Moderate to severe statewide drought in 2015 and 2016 (ongoing) resulting in less flow of water to fill ponds, raceways and supply flow at all three hatcheries."
Is this still the case there? Seems like there have been some big storms in your state this year, do you normally get more?

Yes we had a severe drought the past couple years which stopped most of the fall stockings,we are no longer in a drought now.i personally believe the cut is mainly do to our state being a billion dollars in the hole.they are trying to get !Oney from anywhere they can

I see the repairs on the hatcheries hurt big time too. They are slowly fading the sportsman and women out of the decisions. Not good for the next generations.
