Looking for something to do tomorrow?? We will be fishing with Doug Miller at Bear Lake, Thrusday, 2/5/04. Everyone and anyone with a license is invited to come along. We will be ice fishing for whitefish and the story Doug will be filming will be how to catch, clean, cook, and smoke whitefish. We will start fishing at 7:30-8:00am at the first pull-off about 1/4 south of Gus Rich Point. We will probably fish until around noon or so. We may move over to the east side of the lake later in the morning. No guarantees you will be on TV, but he wanted to film some fishermen. Remember whitefish are the target. Today we did some scouting and caught lots of fish in 15-18 feet of water on small spoons and ice flys tipped with waxworms or salmon eggs. Use light line (4-6 lb. test). The bite is extremely light so spring bobbers really helped out, but you can still catch fish without them. See you on the ice!
