Late Willard bay report
#1
Fished Willard on Thursday the 6th, trolled three hours in the morning, and only hooked one fish that came unbuttoned after only a couple seconds, tried again in the afternoon, and managed to get two wipers in the boat one was nice sized the other Was a cookie cutter, left him to grow a bit more, no other bites, fished mostly north and west of the north marina, marked a lot of fish at pretty much all depths, caught the big one on a clown jointed rapala, the smaller on a silver jointed rapala with a black dot, (I don't recall the name) tried several other lures with no success water temp was 48 in the A.M. And 51 by the time we left, trolled everywhere from 1.3 to 3 mph, caught them right around 1.8 and was using side planers with 75 feet of line out past the planer. Good luck!

The wipers are starting to get active, hope the eyes do too, soon. Thanks for the report.
