#1
What material do you guys use for the signs hanging off your tubes and pontoon boats?

[#0000FF]There are quite a few things that will work. One of the cheapest and most available is the white corrugated plastic sign material available at Lowes or office supply stores for making yard signs.

If you have access to (pricey) clear lexan or fiberglass sheets, they are rigid and hold up well...as long as you are careful in drilling the holes and don't crack the material.

You can also find several different kinds of PVC baseboard or other waterproof strips at most building supply places.

Plain wood will work...but is bulky and heavy...and needs to be treated to waterproof it.

Here are a couple of pics of my rigging...and how I have it attached to the tubes.

Thanks. I'm almost done with all the mods I think I'll need. The last thing to do is a rod holder for the rod in use. My original idea for placement didn't work. The oars got in the way. Actually, it's more like they got in the way of the oars.

I'll post pictures shortly.
