Bass in Benson?

I've been trying these past few times to hook into some largies at benson marina. I am shorefishing and was wondering if anyone had any tips they could share for that area. Thanks.

Green tube jig next to reeds. It's hard to find them sometimes.

Don't know why but I've never had much luck this time of year on Cutler for LMB. Maybe it's because I chase the cats more right now. Only one I got this spring was on a chunk of carp meant for a catfish. Later on they seem to warm up along the timber areas off the Bear but the high runoff makes it hard to fish now. Good luck and sorry I'm not much help. Bass is better up north of the border this time of year. Later J
