6/3 Daniels Trip
#1
My wife and I headed to Daniels for a quick overnight trip and some fishing.

Fishing was pretty slow all day. We caught two in the morning on midge patterns about 6 feet down fishing from the bank.

In the afternoon I headed out in my Pontoon boat and got two immediate takes on a olive wolly bugger size 6. For the rest of the afternoon I was trying to find fish but they were being pretty tight lipped.

I talked to several people who had rough days as well. Not sure what changed but fishing was slow. I'm heading back next weekend to give it another shot. I might try the dam end, as I just fished the north section of the lake.

Me and my wife hit Daniels 6/5 for a quick evening trip. We ended up landing 4 with another long distance release. All fish came on black leaches fished right on the bottom. Fish ranged from 14-18" It was pretty slow.
