Weber Report 6.23
#1
Was going to go fish a different body of water but as I drove by the stretch of the Weber below Rockport I just could keep driving. The water seemed lower and was a lot clearer. It was easy to wade and there some great hatches. I only stayed for a few hours but landed a few good fish. They were keyed in on the Eagen Dart, red worm and black zebra. The crazy catch, which was a first for me, was the giant sucker! That made for a great surprise and long fight. Had no idea these were even in this river. All in all it was a great day on the water.

Thanks for the report. I've hooked a few suckers as well and they get you going for a bit thinking you hooked a big brown.
