Sorry, couple days late here. Hit a handful of lakes in the Crystal Lake T.H. area and came away with a nice mixed bag. No skeeters yet, but PLENTY of water this year, so they will be coming in droves! Marshy shores and muddy trails were the order of the day.

Started out with a few small brookies on scud patterns:

Rainbows were most cooperative of all... ran a little on the skinny side but a few colorful specimens up to about 13-14 inches:

Caught a handful of Tigers... none more beautiful than this specimen:

Highlight of the morning was a gorgeous, male Grayling sporting a huge dorsal fin and beautiful blue highlights. Have to stick the camera in the water to catch the show most times:

Stayed on the move and switched flies often... most consistent producer was the Gold Bead Damsel:
