No I have not disappeared. Been too busy at work to fish.... DUMB. Anyway back in the groove and getting ready for the Phil Shope Tournaments. BFL is on Lake Keowee this coming Saturday. Expecting 170 boats. Also the Fishers of Men were here (keowee) yesterday I heard they had about 80 boats. Someone on another website said it took only 14 pounds to win.....
Brother Gary and I went yesterday at sun up for about Five hours... (before I had to go to work) and were able to catch 4 really nice fish.... Averaged 2.5 pounds each.... and based on what I heard about the fish not biting we should have been in the FOM tournament. All of our fish were caught on drop shot rig....water temp was 48degrees. Anyway... it was cold and windy blowing 15-20 Mph easy..... not a lot of fun and glad we did not have to stay out all day anyway.
