America’s most popular outdoor store, Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, will be part of a planned 80-acre development for sportsmen, gaming and lodging that includes the Silverton Hotel and Casino. The mega center, located at I-15 and Blue Diamond Road, will also include mixed use, retail and time share.

The more than 130,000 square foot store, tentatively scheduled to open late summer 2004, offers a museum like atmosphere, featuring waterfalls, intricately detailed ironwork, aquariums stocked with native fish, wildlife dioramas, massive log and rock work reminiscent of old Adirondack lodges, antiques and even old hunting and fishing pictures of area sportsmen. The hotel and casino will also be themed around hunting and fishing traditions and all will be connected by a common entry.
