mussel forms and float tubes?
#1
I want to start using a self-powered float tube. What do I need to do about mussel forms at the lake? In years past when I took a boat to the lake, I just needed to sign the paper form and put it on my dash. If I pull a float tube out of the back of my truck, is that not the same as launching a boat, in that all I need to do is put one of the signed forms on my dash? Anything special for float tubes vs boats? Thx.

It's just the same as you have been doing with the boat.

If you do the annual certificate you need a copy for the dash and one for the tube.

you don't need to carry a mussl cert on your person or in the boat/tube just the tow vehicle

If it floats, it's a boat. Hint.... that's one of the answers on the annual cert test.
