Logan and Blacksmith
#1
Fishing has been pretty good on the Logan and Blacksmith if you can find big holes where all the fish have congregated. They'll start spreading out soon and this year's runoff will be minimal. I've been fishing perdigons and some variations I tie of an Egan's rainbow warrior. It seems like pretty much anything gets bites if you are using really heavy nymphs and getting them near the bottom of the deep holes. I've also been hitting the Oneida Narrows and have been catching some nice ones. Had a beast on and lost him. It was either a 5+ pounder or a carp. It was in a deep hole with tons of rainbows. Never saw him before he got off.

Thanks for the report, I've been thinking about making a trip up to Oneida Narrows. How was the water flow up there?

Oneida narrows--- Way high compared to years past. Generally around 300-400 this year 1400-1600. Lots of water hard to wade.
