Lake Mead 5/4/18

[cool] Hit the lake at gray light in my kayak from government wash. Was hoping to net some shad but could’nt find them. Decided to paddle south of the channel and started to get into the fish. Picked up two stripers on the paddle tail jig. Then got a nice smallmouth in a cove. Tossed the jig in the same cove and got a nice 3lb largemouth. Hit another cove and got two more stripers for tacos on the rattletrap. Nice day on the water.

With weird spring weather we had and now near 100 degree temps in May the bait is all messed up. Now the water levels are dropping who knows what will happen.
