Kentucky Lake & Lake Barkley
#1
Crappie fishing is good. They are hitting minnows and jigs in both lakes. Most are being cught along the secondary channels and around the mouths of the bigger bays. Largemouth have slowed in Kentucky Lake but some big fish have been caught in Lake Barkley. Jig and pig combinations in brown and black are the best baits. Smallmouth are good in Kentucky Lake on spinners and crankbaits. Catfish are improving below the damns on nightcrawlers but should only be considered fair. Whitebass and bluegill are slow.

www.kentuckylakebarkley.com
