South Fork Snake River - Idaho
#1
Hey guys. Just a quick report on the south fork in case anyone is interested in going up there for the weekend. The salmon flys are out in the upper sections, but the water has been off color due to high flows. They have dropped over the last couple of days so it should be clearing up. Use a large Chernobyl pattern with orange or yellow belly. Then drop a couple nymphs under that. They are tucked pretty close to the banks as well. Morning action is good on the nymphs, and the dry takes pick up after a quick stop for lunch.

Drove by through Swan Valley on our way back from Jackson, WY. Absolutely incredible looking water, hard not to stop.
