Hello-
Can somebody please help me identify what kind of fish this is in the photos? It was caught in Island Park Reservoir in Idaho.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Yep, Utah chub, even in Idaho. They make good cut bait for bigger Macs.

Thanks for the help.
Do you guys know what a fall fish is and if so, two questions:
1)do we have fall fish in Utah?
2)if so, how do you tell a fall fish from a Utah chub?
Thanks!

Fallfish are a member of the chub family but they are found in the northeastern US and eastern Canada. Their scales are larger than those of the Utah Chub and they have a pronounced lateral line along their sides.
If you do a Goggle search for Fallfish, you'll find some photos.
