Minn Kota C2 45 lb thrust question
#1
Anyone have any idea if there is a way to adjust the gears so that the lowest speed setting is even slower? It has 5 forward speeds and the lowest setting (1) seems to move a little quicker than I'd like while trolling with streamers.

I'm pretty sure you are out of luck on that idea but if there were, you might find something on YouTube. IMO, your best bet to slow your craft down would be to use a drift sock, maybe even a small bucket.

That's what I was guessing. I have searched online and can't find anything. I do like the drift sock or small bucket idea. I'll have to give that a try. I just seem to have better luck when I keep turning off my trolling motor and just drift before coming to a stop as opposed to trolling at 1. I keep hearing from others that trout generally like a really slow retrieve when fishing streamers in stillwater even though the tendency is to speed it up when you aren't getting bit.
