Deer Creek on 11/16
#1
Tried pulling harnesses for the first part of the morning. Could watch on the finder about a half dozen fish react and follow but Sadly no takers.
Then trolled KCT spinners and pink hothead to catch four trout, had just as many hits that didn't stick.
Threw out PB while eating lunch and cleaning boat and caught three more bows and missed four good hit and runs.
Beautiful day to be on the water!

I had no luck chasing walleye today there either. I did catch 3 perch working the jigging rap. It was deep so I kept them for future ice fishing trips. Those eyes are humbling for sure. It seems like I cant find them schooling after late June to early July on DC. I sure hope DC freezes this year. Three years ago this winter, I caught 2 seventeen inch walleyes through the ice. I was bummed cause I neglected to charge my fish finder battery, and it was game over after that. The following week the ice was too sketchy for me to access.
