Made a drive by at Lincoln Beach this afternoon. Channel is totally capped. But very thin. Walked down to the First Spring and talked to a fellow BFT’er. He was catching White Bass almost ever cast. Hadn’t caught any Crappie but the whites were there in good numbers. Another nice angular let me use one of his setups and caught 5 in a very short time.

Thanks for the early ice report. About what size were the white bass?

The average was about 8-9”. Caught 2 about 101/2”. Still fun catching them.
