Willard ice?

Anyone planning to ice fish North marina this year or is it too shallow?

The marina is always the first to freeze but I've never done good in the marina while ice fishing. If the Bay freezes I'll for sure give that a try. The last I was out there in my boat, about a month ago, the marina was about 7 ft deep. Fished from the new fisherman's dock, earlier this week, with no luck.

Thanks for the info.Ya I think 7 ft. Is a bit shallow.I would be interested in a report on the bay if you do end up fishing it.

I know it's apples and bananas but Cutler is less than 3' deep and I catch crappie there in the winter... I think on a given day the marina could be good especially up towards where the springs dump in... but that's just me... Good luck... J
