Lake is 80% capped with one inch of black ice.
It will be a couple of weeks before this one is ready, weather permitting.
Shore fishing is still accessible in a few spots. The recently stocked trout are biting aggressively on power bait and salmon eggs.

I was out there almost daily back in 02-04 before they improved or developed it. Fishing there was amazing every time I went. Gonna need to pay that place a visit soon.

Well that visit ended up being last night. Had 20 min before they say its closed. Lot of fish stacked up in the adjacent canal/tributary. No takers. Would like to have stayed a lil longer. Back before they developed it and very few even knew of it. I would stay well into the dawn after work fishing. Also cleaning up trash and kinda helping the groundskeeper at the time be his eyes and ears when he couldnt. That place sure has changed alot!
