Went to Newton this am and it is completely capped with ice but the thickness is only 1 to 2 inches of ice, unsafe in my opinion but it won't be long.

Thanks for the info. Hopefully it is colder there than down here in the valley, if so there could be more ice there since you posted this. With the water level low it should be good fishing there this Winter.
