Pineview Ice ?!

Any news/info on Pineview Ice thickness. I'm sure it is a tad early, but getting very close. I want to get the kids out on the hard deck. I can't wait for crappie tacos. Thanks in advance, Shepley.

Hey welcome to BFT.... I'm not sure what Pineview is looking like, but looking at the current weather report I think by Saturday it will be getting close if it isn't there yet... Will be that thin first ice stuff though so you may want to be careful with kids yet... Again welcome to BFT... J

Was up there on 25th and 26th for Christmas, (parents live up there) still open water in the narrows, a large section open water off browning point, some open water middle inlet north of Cemetery point arm (middle of arm.) and open water off Quist beach. Dad said it's been freeze-thaw-freeze-thaw cycle. We need lots of cold before I would chance it.
