I was casting down at South Point last night with a jointed 10” diving lure for Zulu’s when I had this beast of a Trumpet fish take it. Released unharmed but when I looked up how big they get this easily surpassed anything I saw posted. Said max size was 100cm. This was easily 3.5’ long. Never measured but have the attached pic to back it up. Record? Thoughts and feedback appreciated thanks!
